Today has been good; I’ve watched another vegan documentary and it’s starting to really become clear to me that this is the lifestyle that I really do want. My family are completely against any kind of vegetarianism and veganism so they’re taking pretty badly to my choices. My mum keeps offering me cakes and sweets and chocolates as if she’s trying to break me down; it’s not working though. They cooked a massive pot of chicken curry today and had a little argument with me because I was going to have bulgar wheat and salad but supposedly that’s ‘stupid’. I ate it anyway, I took out all the chicken I could. It makes me pretty sad that not even my family can offer me support in something I would love to take seriously:\
